Toris adventures while studying abroad! |
Sabado 1.22.2011: today we went on a hike to the Albaicin, which is the oldest part of the city and was were the Muslims were in Granada in the 1400’s. There was such interesting buildings and everything had historical value. we went to a monastary and saw one of the most expensive houses in Granada. We also went to a great lookout spot at the top of the Albaicin where we had a great view of the city and of the Alhambra. It was great to see a different part of the city that I had never been and it had a more of a “spanish” feel and was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
