Lady in Spain.

today’s “something new” was some what of something American? We all put on our party pants and ventured out to a pub for some karaoke Thursday fun! It was a nice change of pace to be out so late because I haven’t been feeling up to it until tonight, but a big group of us went and it was just what roommate and I needed! But the surprising thing was this pub was just a little slice of America because there were mostly American students there. it was a nice surprise when I bumped into someone and said perdon, expecting them to speak Spanish, and then they replied  by saying “Oh, that’s ok”. it threw me off for a bit, but then we started chatting and met friends who knew people from San Diego, small world. but then there were some other Spanish folk and so we mingled with them and just got to spend time with the people in the group. It was so fun to laugh and dance and listen to some people with some “nice pipes” sing their little hearts out. so I’d say going to my first pub with karaoke in Spain was a success!
